The Avex Ensemble

Formed in 2019, the Avex Ensemble is a group of UK-based musicians specialising in live performances of electronic film scores. They have appeared in productions such as Blade Runner LIVE and The Terminator LIVE, with performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Hammersmith Apollo, Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Festival Hall in Osaka, as well as tours to Dublin, Lucerne, and venues across the UK.

The musicians of the Avex Ensemble are all classically trained but active across a wide range of musical genres. Collectively, they have worked with leading orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, and John Wilson Orchestra. Their work also spans West End productions (Wicked, Six the Musical, Les Misérables), Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, television and film score recording, London Fashion Week, and collaborations with artists such as Shakira, Coldplay, and Liam Gallagher. In addition, members of the Ensemble are active as composers, conductors, producers, and recording artists.

Forthcoming engagements include the Spanish and French premieres of Blade Runner LIVE at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona and the Philharmonie de Paris, followed by a UK tour of The Terminator LIVE in autumn 2025.
