Benjamin Pope is an internationally-acclaimed conductor, renowned for his work in live-to-projection film and symphonic concerts, as well as major theatrical productions. He is proud to be associated with CineConcerts, and has an extensive repertoire that includes the complete Harry Potter in Concert series, Gladiator, Elf in Concert (European premiere), and many other blockbuster and silent film titles.

He has led productions and concerts in many of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Vienna Staatsoper, Berlin Philharmonie, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires), and La Fenice (Venice), as well as earning awards for sold-out arena performances. His orchestral collaborations include the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, Berlin Staatskapelle, Dresden Staatskapelle & Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Hallé, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, and many other leading orchestras across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. He has also toured internationally with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Ballet among others.

Critically-acclaimed in conducting for dance, Benjamin is Principal Conductor for Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, including the iconic Swan Lake. He was appointed Music Director of the Royal Ballet of Flanders in 2011 and later served as Music Consultant to Hong Kong Ballet. His work as a composer, arranger, and vocalist spans concert, theatre, ballet, radio, film, and television.

As a prize-winning graduate of Oxford University and the Royal College of Music himself, he is committed to mentoring future generations of musicians, and is a guest tutor on the Conducting Masters and Composition for Screen programmes at London’s Royal College of Music.
