Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès

The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (OSV) is Spain's only permanent professional orchestra under private management, operating under a unique governance model shared between its musicians and management team. With a strong commitment to innovative concert formats, the OSV has established itself as a leading ensemble in symphonic projects connected to audiovisual media, popular culture, and new audiences, while maintaining the highest artistic standards.

With a 40-year history, the orchestra co-produces a regular concert season at the Palau de la Música Catalana, presenting more than 50 concerts each year, and performs over 140 symphonic and opera performances annually throughout Catalonia. It is also the resident orchestra of the Òpera a Catalunya circuit. Its repertoire combines the great masterpieces of the symphonic tradition with contemporary music and film scores, and it has collaborated with leading artists from both the classical and crossover worlds.

Since September 2025, Andrés Salado—one of Spain's most acclaimed conductors—has served as the orchestra's Chief Conductor.
